Kaitlin is a skilled, attentive, gentle, caring and respectful provider. Visiting her for prenatal appointments was always something I looked forward to, despite the long drive! Ultimately, I did not have the home birth I had planned for, due to complications with baby's position. Kaitlin was level-headed in discussing our options as I was deciding to transfer to the hospital. She accompanied me during the transfer until I got settled in my hospital room. She remained available for consultation during the continued hospital labor, and came back during the pushing stage and was present for the actual delivery of my baby. I felt extremely supported throughout. Would highly recommend!

I decided I wanted a home birth for my third child and chose Kaitlin from Moments Midwifery. While my home birth did not go as planned, and I ended up in the hospital with a c-section, the care and attention I received from Kaitlin during my entire pregnancy was amazing. Every appointment was like hanging out with a friend catching up on the growth of my baby versus the rushed impersonal appointments with my previous two. When I went to the hospital, she even came and stayed with me the entire time until the decision was made for the c-section. She probably would have gone in there too had she been allowed. I truly can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a midwife who genuinely cares.

I am so grateful for Kaitlin! She gave me care with my second child and I found it to be a great experience. I had a 1 1/2 year old during my pregnancy and her space was very well suited to entertaining her during my appointments. Kaitlin amazing with my younger daughter and involved her in the appointments in ways that I think helped cultivate the relationship they have today. I really appreciated Kaitlin’s positive, calm demeanor and trusted her to give me good advice without being overbearing. I loved her sonographer and getting blood tests and urine tests was super easy. She was real with me and I appreciated the ability to talk through things in life with her aswell. During my actual labor she was on it! She helped me safely deliver my baby at 41 weeks on the dot (just 4 hours before my dad had to leave town for a while!) I had precipitous labor and called a little later than I should have because I didn’t realize what was happening, but she arrived just in time, helped me with informed consent about where I wanted to give birth (I.e NOT on the toilet I was sitting on when she arrived 😂) And safely delivered my baby with my mom as her assistant. She was great in my postpartum care. And her warm smile made a lot of the weariness disappear in the hard first days. Super greatful for Kaitlin and I know others moms who love her too!

I chose Kaitlin because of her extensive experience, including her time overseas birthing with limited resources, and it was the best decision I could have made. My journey with Kaitlin began during a heartbreaking time—my first pregnancy with her sadly ended in miscarriage. Despite not having paid her a single dime at that point, Kaitlin provided an unparalleled level of support and care, far surpassing my experience with my previous OB. When I found out I was expecting again, there was no question in my mind about hiring her again, and I’ve never once regretted that decision. Kaitlin was the perfect fit for my fourth pregnancy and first home birth. From the beginning, she LISTENED—really listened—to all my wants, needs, and questions, making the pregnancy feel like a true partnership. She ensured I had all the information necessary to make the best decisions for my baby and my family. Together, we created a plan that addressed my prior experience with gestational diabetes, which gave me so much confidence going into this pregnancy. The birth itself was an absolute dream. Kaitlin and her team provided the exact support I needed without being intrusive, creating an environment where I felt fully supported but empowered to experience the birth on my own terms. Nine months later, I still reflect on Eden’s birth as one of the most incredible moments of my life, and that’s all thanks to Kaitlin and her amazing team. Another area where Kaitlin truly went above and beyond was breastfeeding. My past experiences with breastfeeding had been difficult and cut short, and I was initially unsure about what I wanted to do this time. Kaitlin was fully supportive of whichever feeding choice I made, but she encouraged me to set a goal and connected me with a lactation consultant before birth. Thanks to that proactive support, I’ve far surpassed my initial goal and am still breastfeeding at 9 months—a milestone I never thought I’d reach. Without her guidance and encouragement, I doubt I would have made it past three weeks. Not only is Kaitlin an exceptional midwife, but her entire team is equally incredible. Their expertise, kindness, and attentiveness made this experience everything I could have hoped for and more. If we decide to grow our family again, there’s no doubt that I’ll return to Kaitlin and Moments Midwifery. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a midwife who will treat you like family and empower you throughout your journey.

I'm so happy with my experience with Moments Midwifery. Kaitlin was so helpful and answered all my questions. She made me feel very comfortable. Going to my appointments was like visiting a friend. She was so kind to my children as well. They loved going to the appointments because she has so many toys for them to play with. She even let my son help with checking my blood pressure and measure my tummy. The patient portal was very user friendly. All my information from our visits were uploaded there so I can look it up any time. Unfortunately because of my sugar levels, I was unable to have a home birth. Kaitlin was still so helpful and told me what to expect for my hospital birth. She helped me choose a hospital and helped me emotionally because I was so disappointed that things weren't going as planned. During my postpartum visits she really made sure that I was ok and had lots of information. I had my last visit yesterday and was really sad that it was the last one. My son was also sad because he loved going. If you are in the area and are looking for a midwife, you should seriously consider Kaitlin at Moments Midwifery🤍

Mommas, if you're looking for someone that will make your pregnancy a safe a memorable journey, you have found the right person. Kaitlin is amazing, she is thorough in her work, thoughtful, and caring. I knew I chose the right person when she saw my iron levels and immediately put me on herbal supplements and referred me to Maternal Fetal Medicine. The supplements she suggested were so effective, they increased my iron and ferritin levels and I was discharged from MFM the second visit. The doctor was impressed, she wanted the regiment. After that, I was gloating to everyone about Kaitlin. My pregnancy and delivery were smooth, I wish I knew about her for my first two pregnanies. Kaitlin knew about my history of hemorrhaging, she held space for my fear, and during my delivery she made sure she was prepared for the worse. Nevertheless, after I delivered my beautiful baby, I was able to hold her without feeling faint and without hemorrhaging, it was such a dream come true. Thank you Kaitlin for sharing your passion with us mommas and making my experience an unforgettable one!

This was my third birth and first experience with a homebirth/midwife. I was sure of what I wanted out of my experience this time around and determined to find a provider I could trust and felt comfortable with. Kaitlin was exactly that. From the moment I walked in for a consultation at 8 weeks pregnant, I was assured by her level of experience, her knowledge, and even her patience with my other two daughters. Her joy and ability to go with the flow helped ease any anxieties I developed over the course of my pregnancy, and I always looked forward to our appointments, which is something I can’t say about every pregnancy. Kaitlin never told me I couldn’t have the birth I wanted, and patiently outlined options for me, and answered questions to allay my husband’s concerns. I was so glad for the departure from being told how my pregnancy and childbirth would go! This time I was in the driver’s seat for my and my child’s health instead of having to fight for my desires. The support was instrumental in having my happiest and healthiest pregnancy of the 3! My birth was very fast, so there wasn’t enough time for Kaitlin to arrive, but we knew that might happen in my case and we were prepared! Once she arrived, she handled everything and again made us feel like we had the knowledge to handle the start of postpartum life. She really does roll with the punches and was back early the next morning to make sure we were doing alright! Kaitlin also encouraged me to prepare for my rest beforehand, and that made a world of difference. She responded quickly when I had a bout of mastitis happen a week after birth, and again when I felt the symptoms of a prolapse. She immediately got me a prescription for the mastitis so I wasn’t in pain long (I’ve had it before and wasn’t ready for a days-long battle), and put me in touch with the Pelvic Floor Therapist she works with to handle the uterine prolapse. Her fee even covers the first therapy session and it was wonderful to know I didn’t have to worry about finding someone or paying for a session I might not even need. Kaitlin is incredibly quick to respond to needs. She said to me one time that she is here to hold space for moms, and I know it’s true that I needed someone who would walk with me through this season. I didn’t need someone to tell me what to do, but someone who would help me with what I knew I wanted. I didn’t need someone to focus on my baby (because isn’t that what everyone does postpartum?) but I needed someone who cared for me. Pregnancy and postpartum can be such a special time of life. Choosing the right provider is essential. I can't recommend Moments Midwifery strongly enough. I never questioned the level of care I was getting or regretted my choice. I'm thankful because this is the first time I would actually say I wish I could do it all over again.

My last baby, number 5 was my first home birth and first birth with a midwife. I was really nervous, I never thought I’d be able to have a natural birth because I’m so afraid of pain. Kaitlin explained everything to me. Every appointment was like a visit with a friend. I never felt rushed. I always left feeling like all my questions were answered and my anxieties about the pain were relaxed. Kaitlin was an amazing advocate for me as I went to 41+6 and did not want to be induced. I had the healthiest pregnancy this time and wanted my home birth. With Kaitlin’s help and support I did it!! My biggest baby at 10.5 lbs, I gave birth at home and my best friend was able to be there and help out as well. I wish I had Kaitlin around for all of my births. I highly recommend her.
